Meet the Specialists

Nick Crooks, DPT, CSCS

Doctor of Physical Therapy | Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Rehabilitation | Strength Training | Sports Performance

He started where most of his clients begin — on the field, banged up, told it was normal, given a generic protocol, and sent on his way.

As a Division II football player, Nick experienced firsthand what it feels like to push through pain without ever understanding why it was there — or what was actually driving it. That experience didn’t just shape how he treats clients. It became the reason he became a physical therapist.

After earning his B.S. in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from West Coast University, Nick spent years building a framework that most practitioners never develop: one that treats the body as a precision system, not a collection of isolated parts.

He specializes in the cases others struggle to solve — chronic pain that won’t resolve, post-surgical athletes who’ve done their rehab but can’t return to full performance, high-achievers managing symptoms for years without ever addressing the root cause. Where others see a diagnosis, Nick sees a pattern — and he’s obsessively good at reading it.

His approach goes beyond biomechanics. Drawing on movement science, strength and conditioning, and nervous system regulation, Nick doesn’t just treat what hurts. He teaches clients to understand their own body — so they can perform at the level they were built for, and stay there.

Outside the clinic, Nick lives what he teaches: weightlifting, hiking, golf, good food, and the belief that the best version of yourself is still ahead.

David Hajjar, CPT

Movement Specialist | Rehab & Performance Coach

He isn’t just a coach—he’s lived the journey from chronic pain to performance. After enduring years of debilitating injuries—including disc herniations, sciatica, neck pain, and shoulder impingement—he experienced the same frustration many clients face: being told by over 30 doctors and physical therapists to “just live with it.” At just 22, a former high-level basketball player, competitive powerlifter, and white water kayaker found himself unable to do basic daily tasks.

But giving up wasn’t an option. While completing his business degree, he began an obsessive pursuit of real answers—diving deep into physical therapy, biomechanics, and movement science. That led him to a breakthrough: discovering a practitioner who addressed the root cause of his pain. It was a turning point that not only transformed his body, but defined his mission.

Today, he blends science, empathy, and elite-level training experience to help others reclaim their bodies and reach their full potential. With years of continued education, mentorship, and certifications under his belt, he brings a results-driven, individualized approach to every client—whether they're athletes optimizing performance or everyday individuals rebuilding after injury.

Originally from Lebanon and now based in Los Angeles, he began his career at Equinox before stepping away from the corporate model to focus on deeper, more impactful work. Now, through his private coaching practice, he empowers people to overcome pain, rebuild confidence, and achieve long-term physical freedom—without the guesswork, gimmicks, or runaround.
